A Spectator is the name given to a member of the War for Arcadia community who participates in community dialogue, watches the forum, and/or votes on battles but does not actually foster a character(s) of his/her own.

Reasons that People are Spectators

• Some long-term spectators claim to be such because they "can't draw," or simply desire not to.
• New forum users are automatically listed as spectators before they submit a character and are assigned a team.
• Between chapters (i.e. between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, all players, even active ones, are deemed spectators until new battle lines are drawn and teams are re-assigned.
• A player may become a spectator after a very long period of inactivity.
